You’re probably still feeling the post-weekend blues of another fun Sled Island in the bag. Sure, the festival might be over, but you can relive parts of it through these perfectly nostalgic band portraits taken by Sebastian Buzzalino. You’ve likely seen Buzzalino’s work around. Former editor and long-time contributor to Beatroute Magazine and Sled Island, he’s photographed some of the biggest and smallest bands to roll through town, not to mention his devoted documentation of Calgary’s local talent. His portraits are hauntingly cool — grainy and fun while paying loving homage to the film the works are shot on. We’re so in love with this gallery of Instax band portraits and we think you’ll be too.
