Stroll down 9 Avenue Southeast on any given day and you’ll notice a certain sense of excitement and buzz around one store in particular — Plant. Kyle Chow did what every store owner dreams of when he struck that perfect balance of selling what shoppers want at an irresistible price, not to mention in a dreamy space with rotating stock that begs multiple visits a month.
Well, he’s done it again at Recess, his newest venture in Inglewood just two doors down from Plant. The premise is simple — sell covetable homeware, stationery, pens, paper and office supplies and decor for reasonable prices.pl
It’s our newest shopping obsession and our list of must-haves is already considerable. We stopped in recently to take a look around. Here’s a glimpse of the store.

The store is super cute and stocked with useful and beautiful items. It will definitely require repeat visits to explore everything.
